What is Shotgun Fest
More than a range day
Shotgun Fest is a two-day premium shotgun experience built for shooters who want more: more guns to try, more skills to develop, more competition, and more community.
Demo shotguns from the top manufacturers in the country, shoot alongside champion-level instructors, compete in high-energy challenges, and experience the most exclusive Friday night in shotgun sports. Whether you are a seasoned competitor or just getting started, Shotgun Fest was built for you.
How it works
Two days, one unforgettable experience

Development Day
Friday
- Elite sporting clays clinics with champion shooter Cory Kruse
- Trap clinic with Hall of Fame trap shooter Richard Marshall Jr.
- Open practice on sporting clays, trap, and skeet for VIP ticket holders
- Gun fittings with Del Whitman (by appointment)
VIP Night: Annie Oakley Shoot and Social
Friday evening
- Hang out with Steve in a small group setting
- Limited to 25 tickets (sold out in 2026)
- Annie Oakley-style shooting games, all ammo included
- Catered dinner and campfire social
- Win a round to qualify for Saturday’s Championship
Main Event
Saturday
- Live TFL exhibition shooting show (free and open to the public)
- Manufacturer demo bays with the top shotgun brands
- Sporting Clays 100 and Trap 100 competitions, plus skeet and 5-Stand
- Cory Kruse and Richard Marshall Jr. clinics
- Shooting challenges, the Annie Oakley Championship finale, and food trucks

Cory Kruse: Champion Sporting Clays Clinic
Step onto the course with a champion. Cory Kruse, one of the most accomplished sporting clays shooters in the country, brings elite instruction to Shotgun Fest. Whether you are chasing a personal best or breaking clays for the first time, this is the kind of instruction that changes how you shoot.
Clinics are limited to 20 spots.
Richard Marshall Jr.: Hall of Fame Trap Clinics
Step onto the trap line with a Hall of Famer. Richard Marshall Jr. is a 4-time Grand American World Champion, 35-time All-American, and Trapshooting Hall of Fame inductee. Whether you are sharpening a competitive game or stepping to the line for the first time, this is the kind of instruction that changes how you shoot.
Clinics are limited to 20 spots.
Manufacturer Demo Bays
Try before you buy. The top shotgun manufacturers in the country bring guns to the range, ready to shoot, with ammo and targets provided. This is your chance to get hands-on with the guns you have been watching on TFL.
Pro Gun Fittings
Book a fitting session with Del Whitman and find out what a properly fitted shotgun actually feels like. Fitting details for 2027 will be shared when tickets go live.

Friday
- 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM: Grounds open, open practice (VIP and clinic ticket holders)
- 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM: Cory Kruse sporting clays clinics
- 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM: Richard Marshall Jr. trap clinics
- Gun fittings with Del Whitman (by appointment)
- 4:30 PM: VIP Night begins (VIP ticket holders only)
Saturday
- 8:00 AM: VIP early entry and registration opens
- 8:30 AM: General admission entry opens
- 9:00 AM: TFL Live exhibition shooting show
- 9:45 AM: Full event launch: demo bays, Sporting Clays 100, Trap 100, skeet, 5-Stand, shooting challenges, food trucks and ice cream
- 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM: Cory Kruse and Richard Marshall Jr. clinics
- 5:00 PM: Shooting closes, Annie Oakley tournament and Championship begin
- About 6:00 PM: Awards ceremony

Shoot for real prizes
These are not your average shooting games. They are high-energy, crowd-pleasing competitions, and in 2026 they gave away shotguns and gear. Here is what was on the line.
Can Cannon Smash
Hit the most clays out of the air with the Can Cannon and win your very own Can Cannon.
Benelli A.I. Challenge
Hit a clay at 60, 70, and 80 yards and you are in it to win a Benelli Ethos SuperSport A.I.
Fabarm Frantic Flurry
Hit the most clays at this one-person flurry and the Fabarm L4S Initial Hunter is yours.
Wheel of Shotgun Fortune
Spin the wheel, complete the shot. The longest run goes home with the Retay Gordion.
Competitions
Chase a score
Compete in the FalconStrike Sporting Clays 100 or the ShotTracker Trap 100, or jump into open rounds of skeet throughout the day. There is a station for every shooter.

Best one round wins.
High Overall (HOA)
Shoot the high overall score across the Trap 100, Sporting 100, and skeet, plus bonus points from the challenges.
Annie Oakley Championship
Shotgun Fest’s signature finale. Win a round at VIP Night on Friday, or in the Saturday tournament starting at 5:00 PM, to qualify. The Championship round follows right after, and the last one standing is engraved on the perpetual trophy. The 2026 champion also took home a Retay Ace Paloma.

Stay right at the event. Alexandria Shooting Park offers RV sites with water and electric hookups. Sites are limited, so book early.
