This is the place I've wanted to build for a long time. When you share, we all get better, and now we have a home of our own to do it: talk guns, hunting, clays, and gear without big tech deciding what we can say or what you see.
Here's how it works:
- Every discipline has its own space. Trap & Skeet, Sporting Clays, Waterfowl, Upland, Shotgun Talk, and Gear & Ammo.
- Every TFL video gets its own discussion thread, so you can ask questions about anything we cover.
- Giveaways, Shotgun Fest news, and events get posted right here in Announcements first.
If you joined before November 30, you've got the Founding Member badge. That's yours for good.
Start by introducing yourself in Welcome & Introductions. I read every one.
Buying or selling a shotgun? Use ShotgunFind
To keep this community about conversation, we don't allow gun sales or listings here. But ask all the buying advice questions you want: "Should I buy this?", "Is this a fair price?", "Which one would you pick?" That's what this space is for.
When you're ready to buy or sell, head to ShotgunFind.com. ShotgunFind.com is updating soon with classified listings, and I'll post here the day it goes live.
Just got back from a week long waterfowl hunting trip in Saskatchewan. First day we shot a 6 man limit and we were off to a great start.
We drove a lot of miles and did a lot of scouting. We found pockets of big numbers but it seemed like the migration hadn’t really hit hard yet. When you are shooting teal and getting bit by misquotes in Canada in the middle of October, that’s not a great sign for migration. Even though the timing wasn’t perfect, we found birds, had some good hunts along with some poor ones, but overall, it was an amazing trip.
The last night we sat in a flooded field and watched thousands of mallards and pintails circle us in the field right next to us, where they were feeding. We got some decent shooting at times but when the birds are feeding in the field next to where you’re set up, that’s generally not ideal. We’ll have a couple of videos coming out from these hunts.
How far can a shotgun break a clay? We took the Benelli Ethos Super Sport A.I. to the limit and set a new world record.

I'll just cut to the chase: My three partners and I recently closed a deal on a shooting park in Minnesota.
