Looking forward to learning

Thanks for putting this together, I’ve learned many things already from your YouTube channel, looking forward to this.

I’ve been shooting since I can remember, hunting since I was 12, extremely thankful for my dad who got me started and still takes an interest 53 years later. I started shooting trap at 16, loved it and did well, then came varsity baseball, girls, a wife, a kid, real life, etc and I didn’t shoot any clays for over 25 years. Just got back into it a couple years ago when a friend asked me and my son (now 25) if we wanted to shoot on their team in a trap league.

We went out and each bought a Savage single barrel 555 (the serial numbers are 1 number apart) and went for it. Good gun to get back into shooting without a huge cost. After a couple years now I took the plunge and just got a Beretta 688 two weeks ago. Broke 90/100 the 1st time out. Looking forward to shooting many more rounds in the weeks and months to come.

Hi Ken, thanks for joining and for making the intro. Awesome to hear a little bit about your story. I bet you're enjoying the upgrade to the 688 over the 555. You're right it is a decent gun to get into Shooting without huge cost but every time I shoot one I pay for it in pain to my face.

Steve Gould No doubt, I would get popped in the face at least once per round. In the 1st 100 with the 688 I didn’t get it once.
